Retreats


Crabapple Hill Stitchery Sojourn Retreats offer a chance to get away, relax, and be a little bit spoiled!

Retreats are located at our studio, 1522 N Dallas Rd, Benton City, WA

We offer seasonal retreats each year, with projects and supplies included. All you need to bring is your reading glasses, your scissors, and your favorite hoop, we'll supply the rest!

We’ll get to know everybody and get started on the main embroidery project. You won’t need to bring many supplies because we’ll have your project pre-printed and ready to go…needles, floss, pencils etc… All you’ll need to bring with you are your reading glasses, scissors, and your favorite hoop! There will be plenty of free time for stitching and help whenever you need it!
We’ll have kind of a round robin of fun, small projects for you to do all day long!
We’ll also have information available about local wineries, antique shops and quilt shops if you’d like to take a break instead and do your own thing for a few hours… it’s up to you! We'll also have show & tell!
We'll finish up some projects and have a bit more fun and some treats before we wrap up!

Here are all of our nasty ol’ rules and regulations for retreat signups!

  • Signups for the 2025 retreats begin Monday July 15th 2024 from 8 am to 4pm Pacific
  • Our phone number is 509-832-4491
  • We only take reservations over the phone, please do not email a request.
  • You can reserve more than one spot at a time. If you do this, we will need NAME, ADDRESS, EMAIL, PHONE NUMBER, AND DEPOSIT PAYMENT FOR EACH PERSON BEING SIGNED UP. Please have all of this information ready before you call. Deposit is $200.00 per spot. (full price of retreat is $425 per person)
  • After the sign-up days, any open spots can be reserved any time during business hours Monday through Friday 8 am to 1 pm Pacific. You will still be required to phone in and talk directly to one of us. Do not leave a message or email. This will still be on a first come, first served basis.
  • Once the retreats are full you can be put on the waiting lists if you’d like. When filling open spots from the waiting list, reservations are given to the first person paying for the spot. If you receive a phone or email message telling you that a spot has opened up, that does not ensure you of the open spot as we will keep moving down our list. Only payment of deposit or full payment by credit card will reserve your place at the retreat.
  • Your receipt will be mailed to you, along with an information packet telling you what you should bring with you and what to expect, also information about our airports, hotels, directions to the studio, restaurants, and shopping once you get here.
  • Retreat Deposits are non-refundable within 60 days prior to your retreat date, and NO money is refundable within 30 days prior to the retreat date. You will be contacted at that time.
  • You'll need to pay for the retreat in full 60 days prior to the retreat date. We will email or call to remind you but if we cannot reach you by phone or email we will be forced to cancel your spot and find a replacement.
  • If you need to cancel within 60 days prior to the retreat start date, you can either find someone to take your place at the retreat, or forfeit your deposit. We must be notified immediately of the replacement's name, address, phone number, and email address. It will be your responsibility to collect payment from your replacement as NO REFUND will be made from Crabapple Hill Studio.
  • If cancelling within 30 days prior to the retreat, the full amount is non-refundable.
  • Sometimes when you cancel early we can move your reservation to a different retreat, but within 30 days that is impossible.
  • There can be no "surprise" guests accompanying you as we will not have room for them. No children or pets are allowed. Please keep cell phone use to a minimum during the retreat out of courtesy to other attendees, and there is no smoking allowed on the premises.
  • If you're on a special diet, you're welcome to bring food and drinks of your own. We have a refrigerator and microwave available for you to use.
  • There will be no substitutions made for retreat projects. Our Fall retreats will be Halloween themed, and our Winter retreats will be Christmas themed.
  • No Pets please. By Washington State Law, we are not under any legal obligation to allow “comfort or emotional support animals” on the premises. They, therefore will not have access to the studio due to lack of training, possible allergies, and discomfort to our other guests.
  • Legally registered and fully trained Service Animals will be welcomed.
  • Your choice to reserve a spot will show your acceptance of these terms.
