Christmas Countryside

Which house is yours? The large lodge on the hillside above the covered bridge is a combination quilt shop, needlework shop, bakery/soup/sandwich shop, and retreat center, so, everyone who lives here has to be a stitcher or quilter! Sorry… imagination running amok a little bit there!

This design looks large and involved, but is actually a really easy stitch. Colored Pencil tinting highlights the village, and makes the cute faux appliqued scalloped border shine!  The piecing is quick and easy also.
