Refunds/Exchanges

We cannot accept returns on any printed material, cut fabric or trims for obvious reasons.  Please call us before returning any products.  You will not be refunded charges or shipping charges on returned products without prior authorization. Call us at 509-628-0481 10am to 5pm PST.    Once again PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THESE ARE PATTERNS AS STATED ON THE HOME PAGE! THEY ARE NOT IRON ON TRANSFERS....PRE-PRINTED FABRIC...PRE-EMBROIDERED FABRIC...OR FINISHED QUILTS OR PROJECTS! 

Privacy

Your information is safe with us. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not share personal customer information with anyone outside our company, other than what is obviously necessary to process your order (i.e. the credit card service that you have chosen and our shipping carrier). If you choose to register for email updates from us, we will be happy to keep you on our email list. This list is maintained by us and not sold. Other information such as your telephone number, address, credit card number is used only by us to process and fulfill your order.

Shipping Charges

We normally ship all of our products via USPS priority mail which will get your package to you within 2 to 4 business days. We add a small Handling cost to each order to offset packaging costs. Most orders can be sent in a flat rate envelope for $5.65. Larger orders must be sent in a regular flat rate box for $11.85 or possible a larger box for $15.95.  Most international orders will be charged $13.95 for a flat rate envelope to Canada, or $17.45 for a flat rate shipping envelope elsewhere overseas. You will be contacted about additional shipping charges if your order must be sent in a box. We will not be held responsible for packages damaged or lost in transit.  Occasionally packages can be held up in customs for up to 4 weeks before they are delivered. We pride ourselves on getting your order mailed as soon as possible & cannot be held responsible for the delay.

We ship every Tuesday & Friday, rain or shine and even more often if we're REALLY busy!

Sales Tax

Currently, we only have to charge sales tax on orders from customers in Washington state. We charge 8.3% but because of a new sales tax law that went into affect July 1, 2008, we must have your entire zip code (those pesky last 4 digits that nobody uses) so that we can find the actual sales tax where you live & file it with your city or county. What a pain! But it’s the law now, so we’ll be pestering you for those numbers if you haven’t provided them on your order!

Embroidery Floss Care

Most of the embroidery floss we recommend is colorfast but occasionally problems can occur in their manufacturing that may cause even a colorfast floss to bleed. If you want to be absolutely sure about the colorfastness of your floss, wet it thoroughly, place it on a clean white piece of fabric and press it with a hot iron until it's dry.  If any color has transferred you may need to soak your floss in a water/white vinegar solution or Retayne.  Some people who have had floss bleed have been able to remove the stains with a Dye Magnet.  Cosmo Embroidery Floss is colorfast however, and to this point, we've never had any problems with it.  Some Weeks Dye Works floss is NOT COLORFAST and you will have to be extremely careful when stitching with it.
